Hong Kong photo diary - Part 2

I'm back with the final chapter of my trip to Hong Kong! And yes, there are more photos of the city skyline. I couldn't help it :) It's so beautiful!

In this post, you'll see views of the city from the peak observatory deck, more of the streets and markets, one of many gorgeous Chinese gardens, a few more tourist attractions such as the Jumbo floating restaurant, and even a quick visit to mainland China!

If you haven't seen Part 1, then make sure you check it out here! You'll get to see casinos in Macau, and more of the city streets in Hong Kong, including stunning views of the harbour at night :)

Enjoy Part 2 guys!

First up, Victoria Peak!
The view from the peak was amazing!

I couldn't leave without pinning a message to this cute board! :)
The shopping centre attached to the peak observatory deck. You can't go anywhere in Hong Kong without shops around you!
Having a cup of coffee while staring at the breathtaking views :)
The peak tram - quickest way to and from the peak. And it's a super steep ride!
Time for a Big Bus tour of Hong Kong!

Passing the Tsing Ma Bridge - the world's longest suspension bridge with rail and road traffic!

The fish market was surprisingly popular!

On a side note - there were 3 weddings held at our hotel during our stay, and the decorations for each of them were gorgeous! I just had to share one with you all :)
The Nan Lian Garden. I love Chinese (and Japanese) gardens - especially because of the attention to detail. This garden was no different - it was clean, colourful and gorgeous!
Can you spot the restaurant behind the waterfall? What a great view the customers would have!

Back to the hustle and bustle of the city...
Couldn't pass up a quick pit stop to Forever 21 ;)

Heritage 1881 site. The Former Marine Police Headquarters Compound.

Ferries are one of the easiest ways to get around the Islands - and also a great way to see the amazing views of the harbour!
The Golden Bauhinia Square - where the ceremonies for the handover of Hong Kong by the British, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was held in 1997.
Daily flag ceremony at the Golden Bauhinia Square:
Watching Kowloon light up during the "Symphony of Lights". It was nice to see the skyline from the other side of the harbour.
The next day, we went to see the Jumbo floating restaurant :) It definitely lived up to its name - It was huge!
We took a local fishing boat to get to the floating restaurant and since it was sunny, the locals let me borrow their hat ;)
We also managed to catch a train to mainland China for a quick visit, which was exciting!
Here I am at the border!
 Views of mainland China:
Arriving back in Hong Kong...
Relaxing in the hotel room before checking out :)
One of our many souvenirs :)
My mum and I with a beautiful backdrop of Hong Kong.
I'll definitely be back! :)

That pretty much sums up my trip! I hope it wasn't too long.. there were so many photos I wanted to share, and cutting them down proved to be difficult - as always! :)

If you have any questions about my holiday, or want a few travel tips if you're planning to go to Hong Kong, let me know in the comments and I'll definitely get back to you.

I'd also love to hear your thoughts! Have you been to Hong Kong? What were your favourite memories?
